How many times have you had an idea or were inspired to create something or make a suggestion, then immediately shut yourself down and convinced yourself it was not brilliant? Did you immediately consider the criticism you’d receive and all the ways that it could fail?
Even the most intelligent, empowered, and courageous women fall into the same pattern. The amount of energy women expend considering external perception or consequences is exactly the distraction they want to consume you.
Have you considered that those initial considerations are just the voices of everyone else and not your own? We’ve been conditioned not just to believe we are less valuable, but that we shouldn’t want or ask for more. I’m here do anything I can to remind you of the truth; your ideas are brilliant, what you have to say matters, you deserve mores and you should ask for more.
